Membership- Update from the sign up campaign, at the Fire Department fundraiser last month.
ISD- Update from entertainment committee. Update from vendor committee.
Old Business: Discussion and vote on Library Book Box for the Park. Update on any further information on the project to honor the Howe’s (restroom or sign)
New Business:
Discussion and vote on transferring the money paid for the drawings for the Gazebo Project last year from the Project fund to the General fund, ($675).

- PUBLICITY & PROMTION COMMITTEE
News releases, mailings to members, newsletter, brochures, signs, advertising, tourism, visitor information, tie into Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife, campgrounds, etc. - MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Develop ways of securing new members, collection of membership fees. - HISTORIC HOWE COMMITTEE
Research oldest buildings, identify significant landmarks, project to identify with plaques or signs, develop walking tour with descriptive brochure, bus tours of sites, reprint and update history of Howe area. - INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE
Determine needs such as sewers, water, streets, street lighting, sidewalks, parking, etc. Coordinate with county officials and township trustee to seek county aid in meeting our needs. - ARTS COUNCIL
Promote our heritage in the arts, expand civic theatre, sponsor artist's series of programs and concerts, dinner theatre, Olde English dinner, historical outdoor drama. - RETAIL & SERVICE COMMITTEE
Cooperative advertising, logo or symbol that could appear in ads of Howe businesses, sponsor special days or events, seek new businesses. - ECOMONIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Seek to bring new industry, promote Howe as a place to live & work, work with realtors & investors to provide additional housing, seek community grants for projects. - TOWN SQUARE PARK EVENTS COMMITTEE
Schedule events, seek to get new groups to plan events, farmers' market, have something always happening at the square, coordinate improvements like platform or gazebo for performers, restrooms, horseshoes, corn hole, etc, work with the township trustee and Lions Club. - SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE
Clean-up day in spring, river clean-up from Ontario to Pigeon Lake, community garage sale. - COMMUNITY SPIRIT COMMITTEE
Annual fall BBQ, assimilation of Hispanics, candlelight in windows, Christmas carol on the square, community worship services, Howe front license plates, coordination of gardens on English theme. - BED & BREAKFAST COMMITTEE
Central scheduling point. - ANIMAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
Work with Animal Control on keeping animals in line, plan events with/for animals.
